Handgun 1 – Basic Handgun
Course Description:
This 5-hour Basic Handgun training course is designed to provide the new shooter fundamental concepts of handgun shooting. The primary focus will be on developing fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing from a holster, malfunctions clearance, and various reloading techniques. Students will learn firearm safety and responsibility as well as how to maintain their firearm and equipment. The goal of this training is for the student to have the confidence and understanding to be a safe and effective shooter.

Handgun 2 – Dynamic Shooting
Course Description:
This 5-hour Handgun 2 course is designed to provide the shooter with dynamic shooting techniques. The primary focus of this handgun training course will be on improved marksmanship at speed, shooting on the move, target transitions, engaging multiple targets, and an introduction to shooting from cover. Students will improve their abilities to self-diagnose errors, have a broader understanding of training principles, and add more training drills to their bag to work with. The goal of this training is for the student to an improved baseline of performance and a better understanding of their abilities.
Prerequisites: Handgun 1 or Military/Law-Enforcement experience

Handgun 3 – Defensive Handgun
Course Description:
This 5-hour defensive handgun course is designed to provide shooters advanced and dynamic shooting techniques for rapid target engagement in various situations. The primary focus of this firearms training course will be on developing the ability to maintain high levels of accountability at speed in demanding situations. It will cover shooting on the move, target transitions while moving, and engaging multiple targets while moving. We will discuss utilizing various types of cover and assessing and addressing thresholds and visual dead space. This is an advanced training course and students are expected to have a high level of safe firearms handling skills and a solid grasp of the fundamentals of marksmanship.
Prerequisites: Handgun 1 and 2 or Military/Law-Enforcement experience

Handgun 3 – Defensive Handgun

Every Day Carry Handgun (CCW)
Course Description:
This 5-hour concealed carry handgun training class is designed to familiarized shooters with carrying, drawing/re-holstering, reloading, and shooting from a concealed holster. This course will cover concealed carry laws, use of physical force versus lethal force, prohibited places, and benefits of having a concealed weapon permit. The primary focus of the class will be on getting the shooter familiar with working from an inside the waistband holster and the development of efficient and effective fundamentals. This will include how to safely carry and utilize a concealed weapon, defensive posturing and positioning, and defensive shooting techniques. Upon completion of this course, students will receive a handgun safety training certificate required for the concealed weapons permit application. *Completing the required fingerprint cards will be the student’s responsibility *Submitting the DPS concealed weapons permit application will be the student’s responsibility

EDC 2 – Concealed Performance
Course Description:
This 5-hour handgun training course is centered around improving your skills and abilities when working with a concealed handgun. We will go over how to rapidly and efficiently clear cover garments, draw, present, and fire your handgun. We will cover reloading techniques for concealed magazine carriers, drawing on the move, shooting on the move, reloading on the move, and rapid and efficient target engagement with your every day carry handgun. This is not a beginner class and shooters are expected to have a solid understanding of fundamentals and firearm safety.
Prerequisites: Handgun 1 or Military/Law-Enforcement experience

Fundamentals of Red Dot Pistol
Course Description:
This 5-hour handgun training class is centered around pistol mounted red dot sights. We will cover everything from zeroing distance considerations to the anatomical benefits of properly utilizing a red dot sight. During this class we will utilize various drills to learn and enforce visual focus versus awareness and how to direct and control your vision. Students will also be introduced to occlusion and the purpose of using that as a training tool. We will discuss different considerations when selecting a dot like window size, dot size, and reticle type as well as dispel some common myths and misconceptions revolving around red dots.

This course is designed for shooters who already have a strong grasp of shooting fundamentals and a thorough understanding of firearms safety.

Performance Pistol: Vision, Transitions, and Movement
Course Description:
These rotating 5-hour courses will be broken down into several different individual courses. It will consist of a course on vision and aiming, movement (shooting on the move and positional movement), and target transitions. Each topic will be its own 5-hour course. This is a performance orientated series of classes designed to enhance the shooters hard skills capabilities. Each class is in a “skills and drills” format. This is not for brand new shooters and is designed to build on the fundamentals to develop speed and accuracy in a dynamic environment.
Prerequisites: Handgun 1 or proof of competition experience
